Every story has a spine. Mine runs through Virginia, through Germany, through family silences and pop culture obsessions. BrooklynByline exists because the stories that matter most are rarely the ones people expect.

Writing is how I make sense of the world. Not the polished version — the real one. The story underneath the story. That’s what BrooklynByline is for.

✦ The Writer

Passionate about getting the story right — from the reporting to the final word. Available for freelance work, editorial collaborations, and pitches.

✦ The Work

From personal essays to cultural commentary — the work here spans the stories I couldn’t stop thinking about until I wrote them down.

Wahrheit: A Personal Essay Series

Some stories take generations to surface. This is one of them. A personal essay series on family, silence, and the history nobody talked about. Coming soon.

About the writer

I’m a 2026 graduate of East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Media & Communications and a minor in Journalism. I started BrooklynByline because I believe every story deserves to be told on its own terms — whether that’s hidden family history that spans continents, a cultural moment everyone felt but nobody named, or the quiet things that happen in between.

No story is stupid. No truth is inconvenient.
